DEA Partnership

Anti-Drug Campaign Launches Targeting Youth: Try

The Elks Drug Awareness Program and the DEA partnered again to create another powerful and emotionally driven campaign to bring awareness to the effects of drugs and what they will take away.

The DEA supports our partners, who present significant opportunities for involvement in prevention efforts by providing drug trend information at local community events as well as  at national conferences and professional educational forums.

The Community Outreach Section is a critical complement to our primary law enforcement mission; drug use prevention is one of the seven priorities in DEA’s vision.

“The work of the Elks Drug Awareness Program and the Elks members to raise awareness and provide drug prevention education is more important than ever.”

Sean Fearns, Chief                                               Community Outreach                                       Drug Enforcement Administration

Since 1982, the Elks' community-based drug prevention program has partnered with the Drug Enforcement Administration.

By taking pride in America’s communities and youth, the DEA and the Elks Drug Awareness Program are working together to prevent the use and abuse of illegal drugs through education and inspiration.

Elks believe that the youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow. With that in mind, the Elks Drug Awareness Program reaches out to youth of all ages and backgrounds.
